So I turned in 16 bounties and used focused light and now im 40 5 minutes into TTK
Well, my bad friend. No reason to act that way. I wasn't aware that it would be that easy. I appreciate your toxic attitude though, it's people like you that are ruining this community. Oh and I turned them in right away...like not literally just now. But yeah thanks anywayIt's 30 minutes already and it had been speculated for several weeks now that it would be that simple. Thanks for letting us know though
Have you tried rebooting? What's locked for you?I can't even access anything because it's all locked
I'm on 360 I've tried everythingHave you tried rebooting? What's locked for you?

Level 40 in seconds....lol.
Focus light + 8 5k bounties.
This is very true. Level 40 means nothing, it is still the same grind for gear to be able to access end game content. And the way they force you to be in a fireteam makes it real hard for some of us to keep the motivation to keep grinding. I must admit I lost interest pretty quickly... (No, I don't want to go on lfg and find randoms.)If you are someone who saved bounties and haven't played yet, I would suggest that you don't turn the bounties in right away. If you have your reputation ranks edged just turn in whatever you need to get your packages and then save your bounties for your new subclasses and gear.
Character level is pointless as I thought it would be. Pretty much just a number to make some people feel like they have a max character without needing the high teir armor like you used to, which many people complained to Bungie about. You don't need level 40 for anything for a while and even if you are level 40 your light will be too low to handle any of the end game activities. Character level is useless.

The grindfest will supposedly be less since supposedly according to bungie, if you have gotten an item, you will more than likely not get that item again. I believe the slightly more detailed explanation is, if you get an item, it goes to the end of the line of items you will get. So to speak. If you are someone who saved bounties and haven't played yet, I would suggest that you don't turn the bounties in right away. I know that, but I still have to get helmet, gauntlets, chestpiece, boots, class item, artifact, ghost shell and the 3 different weapon types at the highest possible defense/attack on all 3 characters in order to access end game content. And that is easier said than done if you are playing alone and the things you are supposed to do require a fireteam. I like some of the changes they have made, like remove the chance of the same items dropping over and over, but I dislike some of the other ones. The question is if I will get used to it in time, or just quit playing again. The grindfest will supposedly be less since supposedly according to bungie, if you have gotten an item, you will more than likely not get that item again.
