That's normal. Cars that you couldn't purchase without the mod aren't visible in the Autoshow, Garage, or in Photo Mode. You'll see the car at all other times, though.

Would also be good if you could find a way to add more cars. I guess you would need the models for it which complicates things. Maybe when Xbox One is "unlocked" someone is able is retrieve the models from DLC cars and reuse them in the X360 version. But probably by then no one will be using X360 anymore LOL

The Xbox One models would crash the 360. One car model has tons more polygons than everything you see on the screen in the 360 version.

Humm ok I thought it was only higher resolution skins on the cars and the actual 3D models would be the same.

So I finally got around to adding the Fast & Furious cars. Turns out that even though they don't have alternate colors in the original game that they had alternate colors in the database, so that part is done, too. I need to do some performance upgrades for each of them and disable body upgrades (they don't have any) and the FnF cars will be done. Also, thanks to D3FEKT clearing up how custom textures are done I've started on Race Editions of cars. These will be cars like the R34 Skyline with all of its race performance parts from Forza Motorsport 4 using the regular R34 Skyline model from Horizon (with race parts equipped) and a custom texture. I've started to outline a few in my spreadsheet, which you can see here.

****EDIT****
I've also been researching new upgrade types. For example, a suspension upgrade called "DRIFT", similar to the Rally upgrade. Turns out the Upgrades table in the database controls relies on two specific columns to make new upgrades. TypeID (which controls where the upgrade will be available from, such as suspension, tires, etc), and Level, which is the order it appears in. Therefore I can create all new categories for parts, such as drift suspension, racing slicks, etc.

Words couldn't explain how excited I am, Race cars is something I've been wondering about for a good minute now. All I can say is thanks for keeping up with this for so long.

how to install this mod?
Install your copy of Forza Horizon 2 to your JTAG/RGH console's hard drive. Do NOT install as a Games on Demand. Extract these files over the installed Forza Horizon 2 on your hard drive.

I just thought of a pretty nifty question you may be able to answer, is there a way to make some of the rivals that free ride/ street race upgrade their cars more making more of a challenge? Or maybe a more diverse selection of cars to race?

The diverse section of cars might be possible. I could look into it.

That would be awesome, a little more diversity would be cool. I didn't think upgrades would be obtainable but I figured I'd ask. Maybe possible to use race cars you've added as opposed to trying to find a way to upgrade vehicles already used?

EDIT: One more question, with the cars that are added to the game, why when you race do they all appear as the car you are driving? Not a bother to me at all, just curious.

Looks like it *might* be easy to add new opponents. There are two tables in the db (this is more for my info than anyone else's): AIPlayers defines the "driver", and FreeRoamDrivers defines what driver is attached to what car. AIPlayerColors control what color the player's car will be. I'm guessing difficulty is determined by the car more than anything else. As far as cars go I have over 100 to choose from, so...

You cannot use a GoD. The files have to be extracted using something like XBOX360 ISO Extract.exe. This is what it would like on your computer:

Probably around August/September. The racing paint schemes are a lot trial and error work, so that goes a lot slower.
