? What am I looking at, Good Sir? lol
Yes.? What am I looking at, Good Sir? lol
I knew how to bridge in H2 and in H3; are you saying it's like H3?
I run cain to try and get peoples ip address but it kicks me out of the game/I lose connection. I have cain set up correctly with my router/xbox. It's been a while since I've done this back on h2/h3 so I'm probably forgetting something.... any ideas? It's really exactly the same. All you need is 343's ip address for zone alarm and cain. Which you can easily obtain by sitting in the lobby and using cain to scan the ips. You will also need the ip of xbox live.
After that simply do what you would always do.

Do I need to use zone alarm? I'm just trying to get ip addresses through cain and use them to boot them out of the game. I'm not trying to bridge.I have recently been told it doesn't work. But I don't see why it wouldn't and I haven't tried since Halo 3.
But what I can suggest is making sure you have the ip address of the game server your playing such as MCC and you also need xbox lives ip address.
If you have those ip addresses and everything is set up correct then I'm not sure why it won't work. As long as they are in your trusted zone it shouldn't kick you out.
My guess is you left out one of the ips which was why it kicked you out.

Got it to work, no ip's were showing because my VPN was on. Also, im booting using a IP stressor instead of zone alarm. it seems to be working fine, but there aren't any good free ones without a long cool down.Yes you need zone alarm. That's where you put the ips in trusted.
Also you need to be host to bridge boot. Just letting you know.
What all IPs did you use? I'm still having trouble.Got it to work, no ip's were showing because my VPN was on. Also, im booting using a IP stressor instead of zone alarm. it seems to be working fine, but there aren't any good free ones without a long cool down.
Which part are you having trouble with? I'm just bridging my router and xbox, which enables me to use cain to obtain other peoples IP's in game, then booting them via an IP stressor. I don't need microsofts IP or anything like that. What all IPs did you use? I'm still having trouble.

I have eveverything set up right, I just don't know all the IPs.Anyone know the IP Ranges, I had to restore my PC last night to a earlier date due to a blue screen but yes I was able to bridge host to my friend but it took me hours to find the IP Ranges, anyone know some of them.
Also bridging is not that hard I set my main network to Public or Internet which ever option you have, than my main IP to host/site and to public, than set my Xbox IP as trusted, than I set all the IP Ranges, and last step I put my friends IP in.
Now I have it to look like this.
Network - IP Address - Network - Public
DCHP Server - IP Address - IP Address - Trusted
Home Computer - IP Address - Host Name - Public
Xbox - IP Address - IP Address - Trusted
IP Range 1
IP Range 2
IP Range 3
IP Range 4
Friends IP - IP Address - IP Address - Trusted
Make sure to put the IP Ranges as trusted, I just forgot my IP Ranges and don't feel like looking again.
I than have my friend host a party chat and a game, I keep my Public Zone on High and my Trusted Zone on medium.
Hope it helps, usually it works I am still trying to figure out everything if I master it I will make a step by step tutorial for everyone
Hello all,
I decided to bump this thread since i could not figure out what I am missing :
I have lots of ips from XBL in my ZA trusted zone but i cannot activate APR without lagging out...
Do I miss obvious ip adress or something ?
If anybody here could just confirm that host bridging still work in MCC it would be great !
Please not that i'm not trying to use this method to cheat of course, I'm trying to prevent getting team stand-by in team doubles...
