I'm looking for a headset since my Trittons are on their last legs. What are some good quality brands?

I would like them to be as durable as possible(since my trittons cracked in 3 spots) and to have pretty decent sound for games and EDM music.

I'm only looking to spend $50-60 but I will spend more if I have too, however it must be an amazing headset at that point.

As of now I've been looking into the Razer Krakens, however I'm not to sure on how the build quality is

EDIT: Round ear cups would be a plus, but not needed. Square cups and gauges don't tend to go well with each other

Rosewill and Logitech are both good and semi cheap brands.

Thanks. Depending on what other members say I might head with that Roswill headset. The mic on it is a huge plus since I can't stand those sturdy plastic ones that the Logitech has haha
I have the G930s and I'm not a fan of the little plastic mics either. The sound quality and comfort is great though.

While I can agree with part of your statement, I have to disagree... Gaming headsets are good for gaming. That's what they are made for. You said they aren't good for music, that's because it's a gaming headset not a pair of headphones. They aren't made for music, they're made for games. With that in mind, there is nothing wrong with getting a gaming headset for gaming especially at the ~$50 range. If he wanted a good headset for music he'd have to be in the ~$150+ range..

Krakens are built like tanks, although they are VERY bass heavy as it typical of "gaming" peripherals. I might have a pair for sale (the ones with no mic) soon, i could give you a deal or something if youre interested

Sound quality is sound quality lol...

Not quite sure what I'd recommend for only $50-60.

I love my Sennheiser's but they were $200. SharpGhost SharpGhost can also vouch that they are a quality brand.

Yes.

You won't find a legitimately powerful and high quality headphone set up under 50 bucks. You'll just have to settle for low tier headphones. I gave a bit of good information in Atlas' thread where he was asking the same question you were.

If you want to get a great headset, buy these. They might be $250, but they will last for around 10 years.
