Houston, we have a problem.
Hey! This is my first tutorial, so if you have any suggestions/criticism, I'd love to hear it. Alright, lets get on with this TuT.
Before we get started: Well, this is a method that I've been doing for a LONG, LONG time (like, since 2007ish).
To Admins: The games you will be getting for a HUGE discount are LEGIT, and I WONT be promoting any non s7 links to shops, sellers ETC.

So let's get started.
What you will need:
- An (almost) scratch free disc of the game you want. You can easily get this from a friend or Gamestop (used) .
- A retail Xbox 360 (duh)
- A very scratched up disc from Ebay, Amazon, any place really. (The price of this disc will be your final price.)
- A (somewhat) working brain
Alright.
Step 1: Get your (almost) scratch free disc, throw it in the console, and go to My Games on the Xbox 360 Dashboard.
Step 2: Click the X button on the Game you inserted into your Xbox (I will be using Gears Of War 3 as an example)
Step 3: Press the A Button on Install
Step 4: Grab some food / a phone to play on while you wait for the game to install.
Step 5: Once it is done, it shouldn't give you an error, it should say it has successfully installed.
Step 6: Give your friend back his / her disc, or return it to Gamestop for a full refund.
Step 7: Put the REALLY scratched disc into your xbox. For this to work, the disc CAN'T be broken/snapped, it must just be really scratched up, or laser burned (like when you shake the console while a disc is in).
Step 8: The game should run, and it should also run faster than it would if it were on a disc.
Step 9: Profit?
Thanks for reading. If it helped, or if this is a new method to you that you'd be willing to try out, let me know! Peace~
