Agreed that Jasper is the best, Falcons are less prone to red lights, but have issues with memory editing, and zephyrs are just a xenon with HDMI and tpye 2 kvs. So if you have to have HDMI output then zephyr will work, but you'll need type 2 kvs. If you don't care about HDMI then a xenon will be the cheapest and takes any kvs, although it will also be more prone to red lights. Falcons and Jaspers are more expensive.....

So if i 12v it and keep it cool it shouldnt give me too much trouble?

I've only ever Jtag'd one console and that was a xenon so yano where im coming from

All JTAG's are prone to getting red lights. Every xbox is. The later models are just less likely to get the errors. The random E-errors are usually wires touching.
I'd suggest getting a talismoon fan rather than making the stock fan super-loud.

Yes, 12v fan upgrade will keep the system cooler (and much louder). Random E errors do happen on the Zephyrs, but only at startup and a simple restart seems to work. Some people think that adding a 330ohm resistor as the bridge rather than a wire, FYI

Yeah will do!
But if I get a talismoon and some XCM fans for the heatsinks, some Jasper heatsinks, I should be alright like?

I know I sound like a n00b its just I want to have as much reassurance that my Jtag isnt gonna die in 2 weeks time

We were all n00bs once right?

XCM fans are mostly just aestheticly pleasing rather than actually doing anything. I'd suggest the talismoon fan, and MAYBE and xcm fan for you gpu. If you're dead-set on keeping it cool, water-cooling is that way to go, but more expensive than sin.

Talismoon seems to be the way to go then!
I just want it to be pratically usuable for the weekends and stuff!
