You'll need:
1. iHAS124-B Burner
2. Kodak DVD+R DL Blanks (Cake box)
3. My FW pack
Start by connecting your drive to your computer and make sure that it is recognized.
1. Follow the first source tutorial to flash the drive to c4eva's CFW.
2. Reboot
3. Open Flash_Utility.exe
4. Select Read Flash
5. Save it
6. Select Write Flash
7. Select "PATCHED -iHAS-124B-AL0S-MKM001MKM003-final_speedpatched.bin"
8. Let it flash it
9. Reboot
10. Open EEPROM_Utility.exe
11. Go to the options tab
12. Make sure ONLY "SmartBurn" is checked
13. Exit it.
14. Open IMGBurn
15. Go to settings (Tools -> Settings)
16. Go to the "Write" tab
17. Make sure "Perform OPC before write" is UN-checked
18. Make sure "Enable BURN-Proff" is checked
19. Make sure "Layer Break" is set to "Calculate Optimal"
20. Start burning at 2.4xI've made 8 XDG3 burns so far that verify 100% and over 10 XGD2s that verify 100% as well. Your cheap disks and cheap drive can produce logs as glorious as this:
