I have a Xephyr Xbox 360 with a Hitachi drive that I believe I have successfully flashed (it reads official discs with no issue, currently no way of testing with burned discs). I am attempting to burn Lollipop Chainsaw to a Verbatim DVD+R DL AZO 8.5GB 8X (the one everyone recommends), but running into dead ends everywhere. Here's everything I've tried in no particular order:
  • I know for sure I have a good ISO. I have run it through ABGX multiple times and it all comes up green.
  • According to the Arch Wiki the only necessary command for burning XGD3 games is the last one with the truncate command, however running this and then checking the ISO again with ABGX results in errors regarding video that I am not sure would result in a damaged/incomplete disc that will not play.

Failed to find or open 'Video_80171F70.iso' (No such file or directory)
This is a very large video partition that isn't hosted on the database, so
you'll have to find it elsewhere and put it in your StealthFiles folder --
Since XGD3 video partitions are unique for every game, you probably won't find
it online and will have to rip another copy of the game instead

  • Attempting to burn the ISO using growisofs in the second command on the Arch wiki errors out because the ISO is too large to burn.
  • I have two disc burners available to me: an ASUS BW-12B1LT in my Linux device, and an older Hitachi burner in an old all-in-one Win10 PC that I am not sure what the exact model is. Since the BD drive is "newer" I am not sure if the BurnerMAX payload will work on it or it if it's been tested at all. I attempted to run the BurnerMAX payload on the Hitachi and it does not appear to be compatible. The BurnerMAX payload tool does not work under Wine on Linux, and neither does Imgburn which supposedly has the BurnerMAX payload as part of the last release.
  • There is supposedly a variant of the BurnerMAX payload for Linux but I cannot find it anywhere, if it exists at all.
  • When trying to flash the DVD drive firmware I also attempted to use Imgburn in a Win7 VM on my Linux device while passing my BD drive through it, however this did not work and resulted in a 79 unlock CD coaster, so I don't think it will work any better with BurnerMAX or the XGD3 ISO.
The last possible option I am considering is using something like Hiren's to live boot Win10 from on my Linux device, loading Imgburn, loading BurnerMAX, then seeing if that works. But assuming that won't work, are there any other options available to me?

I can't link the Arch Wiki directly, but the page title is "Burning Xbox 360 games".

Just tried using Imgburn and BurnerMAX from Hiren's, the latter doesn't run because it relies on a .NET framework, which you can't install on a live disk. Also tried to run it through VirtualBox with my BD drive passed through and it couldn't patch it there either.
