Discussion XeX tool not working?

when i open it up, it just goes away.. what do i do?

i know im not retarded but when i do that it shows a bunch of words and S*** so yea

i go to cmd and type

C:\Users\Joseph\Desktop\J-tag\MW2 XeX patcher\XeX Tool\XexTool.exe

then a bunch of words come up so yea i dont know if it patched - rep

now it gives me an error... it says

Im going to assume since your posting here your trying to patch the mw2 default_mp.xex.

Follow this Tut to patch it.

I obiously did read the above post and my point is if you tried to use

C:\Users\Joseph\Desktop\J-tag\MW2 XeX patcher\XeX Tool\xextool -p patch.xexp -o output.xex input.xex

this it obiously wouldnt work I wanted you to look at that link because it shows you what to do. Do you actually think that would work without a xex named output and input theSheep put that there as an example...

oh sorry, im fed up cuz no one is helping until now and i've been on this computer for hourssss... yea so when i do that, it give me a reading error

Alright well I will help
1. So you got the default_mp.xex from a mw2 iso.

2. Put default_mp.xex in the folder were xextool is.

3. Get default_mp.xexp from somewhere i used la fluffie to extract it from the tu4 cache.

4. Put default_mp.xexp in the folder were xextool is located.

4. Once you have default_mp.xexp you use the command in the link i posted above. Then follow the rest of the commands in the link.
