    Here is some source codes that I have made to make it seem like your using an Imagick Extension that works with Animated Avatars and such.

    Code #1 - In Threads (Everyone should know this one)
    Go to "message_user_info"
    Look for
    Code:
    <xen:avatar user="$user" size="m" />
    Replace with
    Code:
    <a class="username avatar Av{$user.user_id}l" href="{xen:link members, $user}">
    <img src="{xen:helper avatar, $user, l, 'true'}" alt="{$user.username}" height="96px" width="96px" itemprop="photo" />
    </a>
    Code #2 - Visitor Panel
    Go to "sidebar_visitor_panel"
    Look for
    Code:
    <xen:avatar user="$visitor" size="m" img="true" />
    Replace with
    Code:
    <a class="username avatar Av{$visitor.user_id}l" href="{xen:link members, $visitor}">
    <img src="{xen:helper avatar, $visitor, l, 'true'}" alt="{$user.username}" height="96px" width="96px" itemprop="photo" />
    </a>

    Code #3 - Staff Online + Members Online
    Go to "sidebar_online_users"
    Look for
    Code:
    <xen:avatar user="$user" size="s" img="true" />
    Replace with
    Code:
    <a class="username avatar Av{$user.user_id}l" href="{xen:link members, $user}">
    <img src="{xen:helper avatar, $user, l, 'true'}" alt="{$user.username}" height="96px" width="96px" itemprop="photo" />
    </a>
    Code #4 - Notable Members
    Go to "member_notable"
    Look for

    Code:
    <li><xen:avatar user="$user" size="s" text="{$user.username}" class="Tooltip" title="{$user.username}" /></li>
    Replace with
    Code:
    <li><a class="username avatar Av{$user.user_id}l" href="{xen:link members, $user}">
    <img src="{xen:helper avatar, $user, l, 'true'}" alt="{$user.username}" height="96px" width="96px" itemprop="photo" />
    </a></li>
    Code #5 - Go to Notable Members/Staff
    Go to "member_notable"
    Look for (the second one in the template)
    Code:
    <li><xen:avatar user="$user" size="s" text="{$user.username}" class="Tooltip" title="{$user.username}" /></li>
    Replace with
    Code:
    <li><a class="username avatar Av{$user.user_id}l" href="{xen:link members, $user}">
    <img src="{xen:helper avatar, $user, l, 'true'}" alt="{$user.username}" height="96px" width="96px" itemprop="photo" />
    </a></li>
    Code #6 - Member List
    Go to "member_list_item"
    Look for
    Code:
    <xen:avatar user="$user" size="s" class="{xen:if $noOverlay, 'NoOverlay'}" />
    Replace with
    Code:
    <li><a class="username avatar Av{$user.user_id}l" href="{xen:link members, $user}">
    <img src="{xen:helper avatar, $user, l, 'true'}" alt="{$user.username}" height="96px" width="96px" itemprop="photo" />
    </a></li>
    Code #7 - Messages
    Go to "message_user_info"
    Look for
    Code:
    <xen:avatar user="$user" size="m" img="true" />
    Replace with
    Code:
    <a class="username avatar Av{$user.user_id}l" href="{xen:link members, $user}">
    <img src="{xen:helper avatar, $user, l, 'true'}" alt="{$user.username}" height="96px" width="96px" itemprop="photo" />
    </a>
    If you have any problems, please don't be shy and message me about it. I tested this only on the Latest Version of Xenforo. If you have suggestion of any other place that I didn't cover, please do contact me also. :smile:

    Well done. Good use of substitution. I think this would be popular for those who didn't actually buy XenForo.

    If you bought Xenforo, you will still need extensions.

    Thanks for the guide however, I was about to follow this and noticed they already work without me doing the edits (1.4.5 board version). I'll see if others can see them to make sure its not just showing my end but on top of this has anyone found a way to enable this for premium members only so we do not have to manually remove anyone using it without premium?

    That's because you have software installed 'imagick'. This is for those that do not have that option.

    Ah, that makes sense - someone set up the initial configuration so must have set it to that. I do not mind doing the alterations if using the default handler works better over the ImageMagick PECL Extension, which would you recommend?

    Also, would there be a way to allow Premium usergroups access to animated avatars/signatures only as scouring the search engines it seems I would have to manually do this.

    Thank you for your reply!

    It sounds like a custom addon would need to be made.
