My 1st thread and 1st post  1st thread w/o an miss spelled words

I like many other people have the open tray error which just randomly comes to devastate us with hours of tapping and pain in your hand from hitting the crap out of it.

I know there can only be two issues with it i'm just confused which one I have.
Either the laser or motor.
My motor ( i'm guessing the thing that spins the disk) spins and then stops
My laser has no issue moving down the rail. But when i close tray all it does is blink once when the cd 1st starts spinning then another time when it stops.

If you're still confused on what im talking about ill try to upload a video.

P.S. the tapping crap works for me but i hear it can damage your 360 (obviously since it's not meant to take direct blows above the disk tray)

Most likely you need to get a new laser for the drive that would be my first option as that is the main thing that will fail in the drive.

15w-25W should be fine for what you need

I adjusted the laser multiple times it always heads back there. So 15w will be enough for everything else too like LED modding and what not
