Will the Xbox One function if the WIFI board is removed (controllers connected via Charge and Play, Internet via Ethernet cable)?

makes no sense to me but who knows. maybe he has some case modding ideas. it really doesn't matter but i was just curious. even if it was broken what would be the point of taking it out and using it without one. why wouldn't u just leave the broken one in there? like i said makes no difference just curious

Of course it would, why the hell wouldn't it? It's still connected to the Internet and the controllers still connected to the system one way or another.

If you can get me a Schematic diagram of the xbox one i'll tell you. I'm talking component level.

I remember seeing a user posting a month back or so about him picking up a broken Xbox One from a friend for $20 and was self-repairing it to work. He was missing the WiFi board and optical drive, but had the hard drive (he had upgraded to a 2TB I think?) working and such. He got it booting via a hardware modification to simulate pressing the "On" button, and hardwired his controllers. I hope his worked out seeing as OP's here did!

That's just one 'point' of this..
