Discussion Xbox one nba 2k14 corrupt save

Does anybody know how to get rid of a corrupt save, my xbox went off while heading to a game and now whenever I try to play my career it only lets me play the kings and then makes me go back to main menu

I have deleted the file and started a new my career but after the rookie showcase it goes back to main menu and when I go on my career the old save is back

I also tried uninstalling then reinstalling nba on my xbox but that hasn't fixed the problem either
Does anybody know how to stop this from happening?

I'm not sure how to fix that but there is a patch coming out sometime in the next week hopefully (It's already been sent to MicroSoft they just need to approve it and make it live) which is supposed to fix pretty much any issues people have been having.

After the patch mycareer 99 player is still corrupt, won't load, and continues to dashboard me. It's getting really annoying. I bought vc to upgrade my guy max and I can't even load the career. . It's a damn shame. I was in my 3rd season too. All this since Christmas. smh

Yeah I got the game at Christmas and then it all went to ****, I hear it wasn't too bad before then. I'm surprised you're still having issues though it seems like the patch resolved it for most people. I'm assuming you've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game, let the opening video finish all the way through and all that stuff? You could try submitting a ticket with 2k support, they may be able to return your save (since they have the server, doubtful but still) but more than likely they will reimburse you're purchased VC and maybe a little bonus.

I didn't know about "letting the whole video finish" may try that.

Well, I think you should contact 2K support because the recent patch fixed my MyPlayer issue and a lot of other people, it's weird how you're still having issues, just give them a call or an email.

I emailed them. They had me power cycle my console. Now uninstall/reinstall using internet connection, so that is going to take a while. I may have to ring them up.

I called and my save was one of the "rare" issues. They refunded all the vc used and doubled it as compensation. Sucks I have to start over but better than nothing
