i signed up to the reward program and besides the occasional 20msp for surveys and for renewing ur membership which i got 200 msp for how else can you earn ms points with the program? I see people winning prizes and stuff etc im quite confused?

To earn more MS points login to rewards.xbox.com and click on GetYours. There you can see additional ways to get MS points. Right now you can get an additional 100 points for watching any Sports app. for 10+ hours. You can also refer a friend to upgrade to gold to get another 100 points.

There hasn't been that much VIP stuff. I've only received 2 things for being VIP.

The Banshee I received on my other rewards account. On my main I got the shirt and Stars Wars Badge. I agree, the badge was a waste of an award.

It is like what SBK X said though, they have not done a whole lot of VIP stuff.

I use bing rewards its faster and easier to get MS points.

I do bing rewards as well but he is talking about the VIP exclusives where you can win a Kinect, Zune, Xbox 360 and other prizes.

I've been in the program since it started and I only have two of the VIPs. How'd you get the badge? I never saw a promotion or anything for it?

I have no clue, it was just sent to me. It's really nothing special, and it's not used on Xbox LIVE what so ever. It's more of a thing to show off on forum sites and what not.
