do you think there will eva be a softmod 4 the 360 then halo 3 will be fun when you mod
DJ Shepherd said:Of course halo 3 modding isnt as easy as halo 3, considering theres no "map" modding duh
and no, reseaech what a softmod is before you say somethin, its software manipulation to install a custom kernal (360 firmware/OS) so you can customize it, run modified content, etc
if i remember right, one of their problems is finding a 360 exploit

Yes, they can! The KK shader exploit was due to a security flaw that allowed privileged mode (HV mode) and the execution of unsigned code. This was patched with a firmware update soon after. But there is no correlation between the CONs resigner and a softmod. A CON resigner will not be able to sign xbox executables due to the difference of encryption. The CON file is resigned using SHA1, and maybe MD5 (I cant remember). XEX files are signed with SHA1 and RSA. RSA can not practically be cracked.JBDizzle said:Last I heard they could run linux through an exploit in the king kong game but you would need to downgrade your kernal or something.
