So, I'm working on a corona mobo, the mobo initially had an rrod, can't remember the error code but was different from this one. Anyways, I went and opened it up. took of heatsinks and got all the thermal paste off. I then proceeded to heatgun it at the 300 degree preset for around 3-4 mins. After, I waited for about an hour for it to cool down, applied fresh new thermal paste. Put together into metal cage, and tried to boot up. Got an instant red light, with error code 0033. Any help please, thanks.

I never use a heatgun at that low temperature. I use 800F. 5 minutes at 600F pre-heating board, 30 second burst on XCGPU at 800F, 15 seconds on RAM, 30 seconds on XCGPU again, then 20 seconds on SB. Usually works if all it needs is a reflow. Slims rarely need reflows, more often than not they need a reball.

Hey, I read through that, and I'm not sure what it is exactly, I have a spare trinity where I could switch out the capacitors, just would like to confirm that that's the problem. Also would this be fine? to use? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25V-820uF...itor-X-2pcs-/120576299628?hash=item1c12e8526c

1. "Might be temp sensor related, check out 0030" https://xbox-experts.com/errorcode/E15/0033/errorcode.php?s=0030

2. Missing components near U3G1 (Trinity).

3. replace the capacitor c7f2

Can't help much more than that, sorry.
