Nice mod, did you source a custom case or did you do yourself? What hardware did you use to mod?

Impressive job, man. Personally I would've left the sync button black, but I love the color of the rest of the console.

As somebody who wants to make a custom case, what are the required things?

Not bad, although the sync button being painted poses a issue as it doubles as the IR reciever. So now, the IR reciever wont work (aka media remotes, Galaxy phones, remotes to control it other than xbox controllers basically)

Also, Drawing power from the DVD drive can cause a number of issues, i suggest relocating the power source to a 12v point off the power connector.

When I did this mod, was used wire wool + wet/dry sand paper, Grey primer, that colour paint, mask tape, If i remember a 1/4" hack blade as my dremal was broke:banghead:, rulers pens etc to draw with and a steady hand

Marking the case to be cut is quite easy as i knew what i wanted to cut away.

The plexy glass was quite thin also as any thicker would come into contact with the dvd shell.

This was one of many mods I have had, I have learnt greatly from my mistakes like cutting to much of the dvd shell away. Little things like that. But really there should be nothing to be afraid of when doing case mods:cool:

Is it RGHED?
Yep, I had a deMon installed(not at the time of the pics) and currently a cr rev c

Thanks!!
I took out the LED's from the xbox as 2 of them became faulty, and also the controllers worked flawlessly to this day

Nice console, i just wanted to point out that he was talking about remotes and such having issues, not the controllers. But nice build man really like it. The chrome and the red are good together.
