So I have seen them done but half external and never 100% internal. (maybe you guys know of one) so I thought I would give it a go. I had the plan for this in my mind for ages. When my big brother bought the new xbox one, I decided to hack the slim.

Back in september last year I decided to buy the stuff. I made a video and put it on youtube. (it's 13 minutes lol)

Why Did I choose this all in one cooler?
Because the block was the slimmest compared to all the others in the market, the pipes were extremely flexible, and I like the way it looked

Anyway I started yesterday, and basically it's assembled today. lol.

1) Started opening it up.

2) My box of watercooling bits which has accumulated over a long period of time.

3) Exposed.

4) I always make a mess. Test fitted the waterblock/pump combo and fitted in the first twin 40mm Radiator.

5) Managed to find some long thin bolts which worked perfectly for my use! No need to drill through the metal case. These were also long enough.

6) Better view of the motherboard and the cooling setup:

7) I did test it like this aswell but I didn't like it and the air flow would have been a problem. I really want everything as flush as possible so to put fans on the top would be quite a bulge.

8) With the CD drive in, to route the pipes and cut them to size.

9) Originally I was going to mount the Side blowing fan on the second rad but decided against it in the end.

10) And the clear case like this.

11) Pic.

12) After endless messing round with trying to fit the 6mm blue tubing on the rads, I decided to just go for a normal Clear tubing which I found in one of my drawers. This was actually more better for flexibility! I put on some spare anti kink coils on that I had. Would have been better in blue? Also added my T-line for the fillport.

13) Potentiometer:

14) Cutting time! -For the rad.

15) Done/
10378940_477052272425092_4209499428989803566_n.jpg

16) Fitted the rad too to test.

17) Cut the second rad casing to make room and easy installation of the 40mm Fans.

18) Installed!
10355548_477052422425077_6234798233060836329_o.jpg

19) Wired up the Pump to the original fan adapter.

20) More test fitting! Progress! I'm surprised it's taking me this quick tbh.

21) Linked up to my PC and motor + Fans run perfectly! Tested the pot and that works too! Awesome!

Looks awesome bro lol

Thanks! It does and it will look a lot better once the case is on and finally done.

What kind of temps are you getting?

Honestly I don't know but I know its keeping it really cool!. When I switch the fans off for about 1 minute the rad gets a little hot, then when the fans are on the Rads are warm. You could rest your finger on it. Obviously my description is not giving any numbers lol but it's definitely keeping it cool. I really need to JTAG it to get the system temps tbh.

Is there a way of getting the temps without having to JTAG?

Oh, I thought this was a jtag/rgh, that's why I asked.
I bet it's pretty dang low though! Have been thinking about doing this for awhile, even just as a fun little project to mess with. How much did it cost ya if you don't mind me asking?

Costed me approximately £80.

That is for the 2 radiators, fans, cooling block + other bits and bobs.
I had lots of spares so that helped a lot

I will mock up a proper parts list sometime when I can.

Note: I have a video of the first start-up, it failed. Then was working after the fix so the picture is below

25) Fans, and pump all working. It's incredibly quiet!

My videos are taking a long time to upload due to the large files on youtube. Once they're done I will post them up. The videos will give a better understanding of the actual modifications done to make all this fit.

I have the xbox on my side here and just looking at it is amazing, pleasure seeing my idea from over a year ago being fulfilled in a few days lol! Just looks awesome.

I'm really happy with it.

I've never seen that block before. Its very good though.
Water cooling is more efficient than air but if you look at the space needed to cool it - it's not as good as traditional air cooling especially if the heatsink or airflow has been modified or enlarged. With water cooling the pump also heats up a little so sometimes it kinda defeats the object.
If the radiators are up for it and the setup is good then it cam proove fruitful.

Its also down to quality of parts used. I remember I used a 2x120mm + 120mm radiator for my normal Xbox and PC combined in one loop, the water temps rarely went above 27C. Very low.

When the prices come Down for the Xbox one I'll have an attempt at it too. Most likely learn from others.

Looks like s lot of room inside the one?

Either it's going under the CD drive or I am going to get a SSD and transfer all the data over and then fit the SSD in.

That's the plan.

I''ll make space for it somewhere. I may have to extend the cables though if I want it relocating in a hidden area.

Regarding cost, estimate about 80-90 pounds.
