X-clamp fix

    Well im almost done but im stuck

    You see i disconnect the fans, the it goes to 2rrod 3 minutes later, some say its normal.



    So yea i wait 20 Min and bam still 3rrod wtf?

    dont let it bake for 20 mins without the fan, you need the dvd drive in place and you hook up the fan and let it overhang over the cpu heatsink, then leave for 20 mins to overheat the gpu. then turn off and leave to cool. now restart the 360 and all should be well. then again you may have goosed the cpu/ gpu on your 1st attempt. hth.

    whats the diffrence though? wouldnt it bake faster?

    If it overheats that fast either the screws arent tight enough or there isnt enough paste... Mine usually take 5-10 minutes to overheat

    Sweet that must be it.

    Well i let it cool for 4 hours and it went to a green light but the xbox didnt boot like just the middle was green and i let it run for 3 minutes the fans were sniping fast and then it went to 3rrod again. :frown:
