WWE 2K16 Gameplay Teaser Showcases New Manager Abilities

WWE 2K16 is an upcoming professional wrestling video game in development by Yuke's and Visual Concepts. It will be published by 2K Sports for the PlayStation 3 (PS3), PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox 360, and Xbox One. It will be the seventeenth game in the WWE games series (third under the "WWE 2K" banner), and is the follow up to WWE 2K15.


The upcoming wrestling game has released a trailer showcasing the new manager abilities.

The teaser is of "Big E" against Colin Cassady in a matchup featuring Xavier Woods and Enzo Amore as Managers. Managers in the game will have the ability to retrieve anything underneath the ring and give them to their client's to interfere and distract their client’s opponent and finally, grab the referee’s legs in the before the three count. New to the series is the introduction of an ‘ejection gauge’, showing how close until the manager gets thrown out by the referee. It also confirms that in the "MyCareer mode" the players have the ability to walk out on their managers in the middle of a match.

WWE 2K16 is scheduled to release on October 27 across current and last-gen consoles.
