I recently ordered a used laptop on ebay. It did not come with a hard drive. I have two hard drives, an 80 gb oem 7200rpm, also from ebay, and a 250gb 7200rpm that isnt oem. Windows does install on the 250gb but it tells me that the drive will fail soon and it always does. Once it installs it works for a while then it crashes and doesnt want to start. The 80gb keeps saying it failed during the installation. Ive tried different windows and im using a usb flash drive with 16gb to install it. Windows 8 pro is activated because thats what the laptop comes with when new (fujitsu lifebook t732). The laptop does not have a bios password. Is there a way to put the os onto the 80gb hard drive once it installs onto the 250gb one? Or is there another way to fix this?

Before you say that...

OP; have you tried to install a Linux OS?
Have you tried hirens boot CD?
Linux installed succesfully after i posted this. Linux mint still tells me the disk will fail soon but it still works right now.
