OK SO I RESTARTED MY LAPTOP TODAY, IT BOOTED UP NORMALLY THEN IT SAID "WINDOWS HAS STOPPED WORKING. PLEASE CLOSE THE PROGRAM" so i clicked it now i have absolutly NOTHING. my desktop turned into a blue screen, my taskbar is gone EVERYTHING IS gone except for the mouse.... I have a Windows Vista 32 Bit. btw im on my dads computer thts how im typing

PLEASE HELP ME FIX this

So this is the exact error message that comes up: Windows Explorer has stopped working.

so when i restart these are the bootup options that come up:

Start windows normally
safe mode
start windows
(AND THEN THERE ARE 2 MORE I CANT REMEMBER WHICH 1)

Ctrl + Alt + Delete

Then restart computer.

when u start u computer press either f2 or f10 and it will ask u where u want to boot from


pick hdd and u should be fine.

Restart then hold f10 until some menu comes up then choose what boot you want to do then try reboot, worked for me:smile:

when booting up computer press F8 repeatedly untill your prompted with a screen full of options, find "Boot with last good know configuration" something like that and see if that helps.

If non of the above works, You might need a new hdd. there could be many problems with having a bluescreen. Hdd problems, Your mobo could be destroyed, Mine was I got a free one though

Boot in safe-mode (Mashing F8 while booting) and use system restore to restore to a week back.
