Any help will be apperciated.

Ive got 8gbs of RAM in my computer and Windows 7 (32) is only allowing 3gb's of it, Is there anyway to change the amount allowed?

Easiest way would be to install the 64 bit version of windows 7.

B boii is right. Installing 64 bit will improve performance if you can install it ;P.

But are you sure it is the right type of ram?

My computer is home built and was made only for 32 bit and I just want to change it without spending more money.

You'll need to install a 64-bit OS to use all of it, as far as I know. 32-bit OS' can only run 32-bit programs, which can only utilize up to 4GB (3.8 or whatever to be exact) of memory, so the only way to change that is to install a 64-bit OS.

You need 64 bit and you need to make sure you know what channel to set it up.
