Go ahead and move if in the wrong place, but I felt his would be the area it would reach the most people.

So how many people have been constant destiny players that can see Halo pulling you away from Destiny? I really enjoy this game and they are both unique in different ways, but I honestly don't know if I'll go back to the constant grinding it takes to play destiny. Anyone else feeling the same?

I paid for no content in destiny because my friend shared it with me and I stopped playing due to the boredom of it.

It was the same over and over and it's not going to change any time soon. They claimed the taken king was going to be so huge yet 3 hours in, all that was left was the raid.

I feel there's is stuff on there that will last you hours of gameplay, you have to be willing to grind over and over though. gets old quick.

i have been playing a lot of destiny but now they keep rolling out dam patches that make it even more of a grind and im kinda sick of bungie's bull**** all the time and i gotta say this halo has made me have faith in the multiplayer of this franchise again if they stick with this direction.

This game doesn't even have close to enough content as destiny does. Destiny is remaining fresh and new, as Bungies new baby. 343i just wants money with Microsoft. They'll release another halo before they drop destiny 2 I bet.[DOUBLEPOST=1446070796][/DOUBLEPOST]
Drops patch to make things easier to get rewards because that's what we wanted, month later drops 18 new patches making the game a grind fest.

i never understood why they made it a grind fest again especially after they addressed the issue and said they were trying to fix it to then make the taken king as bad as the vanilla destiny grind wise especially with them dam raid drops its like forever 29 all over again

The games are different. Theres a lot of truth in that, but a lot of players went to destiny since halo mcc was a flop. The way they treated the taken king expansion really the screwed over year one players charging $40 (or at least i feel that way). Another way to look at it is, they released an expansion that made the rest of it obsolete. Not every expansion was great in destiny. A lot of people disnt enjoy HoW. I don't know, I enjoy both games but I'm happier with halo so far and there's still much to explore.

That's all there is to it lol. If you prefer one over the other, you'll play the one you like more.

Destiny was fun, but I buy games to play them, rather than grind for weeks just to get gear which finally allows me to play. Destiny was great, but I'm an arena player. GG, Bungie.

I agree. I was never a fan of the experience because I had to grind to get good stuff. That's not fun to me, it's just tedious busy work.

The players who prefer grinding will go for Destiny.
The others will likely switch to Halo.

Arena let me down. The shotgun is just spammed. Grinding is terrible but it gives curtain people a sense of accomplishment. I hate grinding. You should see my brother when it comes to the jump puzzles in the Taken King raid. He was so upset yesterday he turned the game off and started looking for how much he could get for it. Dam I need to make a video of him.

Destiny: The taken king is Destiny 2!

OT: I have been playing Destiny since the release, but now halo is here, I can't see myself going back.

I feel the same way. The worst part (other than grinding) is if you don't consistently play destiny, you won't have proper weapons for curtain missions or be the right level. At least with halo you can pick it up when ever.

I think this game will just bring in the fans like any other game would. The two games are totally different. You should be comparing competitive FPS games, not 343i and Bungie.

Incorrect, Destiny have allowed new players to join the game and if they want to have an immediate boost they can start their character at level 25. Just playing the story will see a player rank up at a greater rate than the game requires for it to be played. I stopped playing Destiny for 12 months and started back up on last Friday. Within 4 hours of gameplay (playing the new storylines in the expansion packs) over a couple of days I was up to speed with players who have been playing since release.

they arent so different if you are comparing the pvp modes which is the only thing worth comparing imo.

Even then, the PVP is a great difference. In destiny you get super skills, crazy grenades, and vastly different weapons. Halo has basically all the same weapons, no real crazy skills, and normalish grenades.

Grenades in Halo are the most OP grenades in any game.

Ok but when it comes to competing in the multiplayer that goes off your light level, you aren't up to speed. When it comes to completing the current raid, you aren't up to speed. Just cause you reached a curtain level doesn't put you up to speed. Without grinding or extremely lucky drops, you aren't able to be the highest light level. Level 25 is nothing and so is level 40. In four hours you aren't even close to people who have had this and since TK release (if the player actually consistently played it).
