Wrong, fella. That's a mod on a 40 gig PS3. All they've done is wire a switch to the eject button and slot sensor.
Good try, and definitely an interesting mod. Sorry to burst your bubble (actually, I'm not sorry at all!), but when we big boys are talking about serious hacking, we mean real hacking. Breaking software. Building software to have the system do our bidding. And nobody I know in the hacking community would consider running a burned PS2 game on a PS3 a hack in the least.
