How does one's recon helmet randomly vanish?

I would try signing out then turning your xbox off then tuen it on sign in and then

that replaces your recon helmet, if you did

did you delete any of ur halo reach downloaded content cause if you did thats the reason cause the helm should not just vanish like that and if you did the flam recon thingy your screwed if you didnt keep a copy of your recon helm

Just go to recently downloaded content and download it again. As the people said above me if you did the reach flaming helmet mod it will replace you'r recon whenever you have it on.

Hmm. Thought I was the only one. I had the flaming recon modded and I redownloaded my recon again (the real one that I got with the game) and yesterday I noticed it missing. I am going to redownload it though. Not sure what's going on.

Flaming head mod possibly, just take it off.
