What router should I get to bridge host using standby method

I don't think I truly understand how to bridge host using the router/modem method, but i'll see how much i know. The standby button is either on the modem or router, and then i press it for however many seconds and bridge like that. I have a mac and i do not know what router has a standby button to bridge. Any ideas?

listen there are guides here for it, dont get into stand bying/lag switching just follow these steps and you will be fine.

But you should get a router with a standby button just in case you have trouble
