I'm guessing you're either on a newish account, or you only play Multi-Team/Ground War with a full party?

Not if you play SnD, I have around a 4.84 K/D with a low SPM of like 220.

It's not hard if you play FFA and know spawns decently well. Truthfully I've never placed outside of Top 3 yet on that account, I've only gotten losses from disconnects (ie. host leaves the game).

You only need to come in the top 3 for it to count as a win, you don't need to actually win to get a win. Easy to do when you know the spawns.
