Visual Studio Application Help

Okay, so i made an application in Visual Studio that has voice recognition and type-to-speak implemented into it. I was wondering if anyone knew how to make it so i could speak to my application along the lines of "Application, open Internet Explorer" then the program would complete the assigned task. I'm still learning and was wondering if anyone could help me and show me into the correct direction?

I think what you would have to do is make a list of common applications and then see if the person says them.

Right I figured that I would have to do that anyways. Would you possibly be able to show me an example in a way to further me along?

Just make an array and check the input if it calls for Open, then check if the words after say a program.
