Vista Volume popup

It always comes up when i hit the volume control on the quick launch.
It makes my computer freeze.
Any ideas how to remove it??
And its vista x64 on an HP dv2000.

Well I'm sure you already know but it is something from HP. Look through their default installed programs and try to remove some things related to Audio, but not drivers.
