The program for visible projectiles is, no offense to whoever made it, sloppy and doesn't work well at all, and the patches for the maps don't work anymore.

So how do people do it. How do people get visible projectiles, none of mine ever worked.

what program are you using? if you are using dothalo, entity, visible projectile tool, or uber dependencie swapper it should if you are doing it right.
dothalo is best. and not at all sloppy. here is how to make visible projectiles in dothalo.
    1. open your map in dothalo and go to the tags list
    2. go to the [weap] tag and choose the weapon you want to make shoot something else.
    3. click on that and go to the dependencies window. to do this at the top go to windows or if not something similar and go to dependency swapper. once you do that it should pop up.
    4. look at the bottom box for something that says at the beginning [proj]
click on that and then in the middle box with the arrow go to whatever you want it to shoot.
    5. MOST IMPORTANT
at the right of there now you MUST go to save changes and you at done:thumbup:

A visible projectile is a projectile that can be seen by non-host players over Xbox Live. I already know how to mod projectiles, but thanks for trying.

obviously. everyone who must must know what that is. and that is the way to do it. non-visible is when you do a meta swap

Only the plasma pistol and rocket launcher is visible to everyone else. Uber visible projectile tool does work. You just have to do it a certain way.
I am making a program right now for easyer use.

    Manually Summary
    Doing it manually sucks.
    1. Copy meta offset of rocket launcher(plasma pistol if its a plasma weapon)
    2. Paste it over the weapon you want to make visible
    3. Then goto the weapon you want to make visible, reswap ALL of its dependencies back to what they use to be.
    4. Then just swap the projectile dep to what ever.
    5. Done

Apparentally there are some problems with uber though, because when I tried showing my friend bolin_johnny how to use it his map never loaded right.

If you double click the carbine, pp, rocket, or sentinal beam to make it visible, your map will freeze. You can only make the rest of the weapons visible exept for turrets and stuff.

I tried doing that, but the meta is always too big and it won't inject.

you are not doing it right then. you are extracting and injecting meta. what he means is copy the code of the meta offset. in the tag list there is a textbox and it is labeled Meta Offset. you click on the weapon, copy the meta offset of that, and then go to the other weapon and paste it and then save the changes at the right.

I've clicked all those weapons and my map(s) load just fine, the weapons them selves are a little messed up after that but still work fine.

the problem is, is that ubervisible projectile tool copy the "projectile meta" of the rocket luancher. and paste it over the weapon your trying to make visible. Well what happends if the weapon your trying to make visible has to large or to small of a "projectile meta". then the rocket would be over writing unneeded bytes. But there is no other way then doing that. what needs to happen. is because your swaping a whole chunk of bytes, and pasting them over a weapon. The meta offsets of the projectile chunks need to be reswapped(meaning the dependencies need to be reswaped), but there in a new location now. Witch means that the place they should be in, is being overwritten with random bytes instead of its proper location. Thus messing up the whole thing. Havent you noticed that some weapons no longer have a projectile dependency anymore after using ubervisibleprojectiletool? Think about it

I have been testing new things with my program. I first figured that, if I swap the rockets projectile before doing it. The projectile would remain like that. I also tryed to run off of other meta. I figured if I could store the meta offsets of the rocket launcher, then overwrite the weapon with its meta. I could then do a search to find that dependencies(using there metaoffsets), and simply relink them all. I have tryed alot to get the perfect visible projectile. Its just not practicle. There would have to be so many different changes to each individual weapon that its not worth it anymore.
