Verbatim disks x8 or x2.4

    any difference in quality of disks of ones that have x8 or the ones that have x2.4

    i was just wondering, i wanna know the exact disks to buy before i splash the large cash on these expensive disks.

    thanks guys (btw im using these disks 2 make xbox 360 backups)

    Same quality as long as they are made in Singapour. 8x cost more. I like 2.4x because that is what I burn my games at anyway. Less chance of error. You get more bang for the buck.

    Ok so get the singapour ones yeah ? i heard amazon have ones from india or summit ?

    Yea, I'd stay away from the India ones, I heard you get a lot more failures. I know newegg has the singapour ones. I got them before.

    Urm im from the UK will all large stores have the ones from india or singapour ?

    Singapour I suppose, in the US, Best Buy carries the Singapour ones.

    2.4 is the fastest you can burn games so ... yeah

    Actually, you can burn then whatever you want. I used to burn em at 8x and they would work perfect. I recently went to 2.4x because they are cheaper.

    oh well when ever i burn the .dvd is says 2.4 no matter what disk i use

    Hmm, what program do you use to burn? CloneCD and ImgBurn both gfive you a choice of speed.
