So here is my desktop what I have now. Everything is still stock, and running well. I am wanting to get a graphics card for this desktop. I was thinking either the EVGA GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) Superclocked, or the MSI Hawk GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi). But in order for me to get one of the two, I still have to find out if it will fit in my case which will be soon, but I will also going to have to upgrade my PSU as it is only 300W, and those Graphic cards recommends 450W so I am wanting a PSU of atleast 500W. Here are some I am looking at right now, and I still need to figure out if they fit. APEX 500W ATX12V Power Supply I'm not so sure if that one will fit, because it doesn't have the dimensions posted. CORSAIR Builder Series 500W ATX12V v2.3 I measured this one out, and it will fit but I'm not so sure it will have enough cables/wiring for everything. But I'm guessing it will.

The MSI Hawk GeForce GTX 460 I'm starting to think is a little bit big. So I'm starting to lean towards the EVGA

But overall, I need to know if this will work? I'm pretty sure everything will fit, its just the mobo i'm hoping will be compatible with that stuff. Also for the PSU, my case doesn't have a vent on the top where the fans usually are, but it might have a little bit of space of room left over between the case and the PSU.

Alright, first thing's first; Unless your desktop tower case is really, really, REALLY small; It will be fine for upgrading any GPU. Unless it's like 11" long, loll.

Use that tier list for the PSU. I suggest buying a tier 1 or two PSU.

My case is really small, well to me it is. The dimensions are 16.85" x 6.97" x 15.32". Yeah, I checked that out and that might work. I still need to figure out if my mobo will be able to handle it. I'm guessing it would be able to but I have no clue.

Handle what? A new GPU? Graphic cards aren't like CPUs; They aren't bound to a certain type of board. You just install it and it will start working usually.

Lmao, I'm starting to think of getting a GTX 560 or 570 or 580. or something better, the only reason I thought of getting the 460 was because I remember people telling me that I might be able to get that because of my low psu, but since I'm getting a better one I should be able to get one of those right? :S
