Solved Upgrading. Looking to play and record at 60fps.

So at the moment I have an AMD FX 8320 and it's ****
with a R9 280 and 16gb of ram
I'm upgrading to an i7-4790k with this board http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K872IT6?psc=1
would an i7 be able to handle recording games at 1080p60fps while playing a game like GTA 5 at high settings? And is this board good or is it ****? Thanks for the feedback.
