Hello everyone, this is my first post here, I hope you guys can help.

So connecting my Xbox 360 to our wifi has become available. I was wondering how safe is it to update from my current dashboard version (2.0.16747.0) to the latest one. I'm not really sure what type of flashing I have, I had someone else flash it for me, but I can play Black Ops 2 and other newer games. Also I have a Philips Disc Drive (the one with the yellow wires).

So in short, is it safe to update my xbox 360?

It's safe to update. Microsoft hasn't done **** with flashing since 13146.

Just update over the internet, and you're good.
