Tutorial [UPDATED 7/16/14] Spoofer for 4.55 to 4.60 CEX Custom Firmwares

First off, big thanks to mrbrokeup for bringing this from NGU!!!

Secondly, this spoof DOES NOT SUPPORT COBRA FIRMWARES!!!

The developer Arachetous has released the spoof for all CEX custom firmwares to 4.60

CFW's Compatible :

Rogero 4.55 / 4.50 CEX ( Included the version no-BD )
Zero / Habib 4.55 / 4.50 CEX ( Included the version no-BD )
Ferrox 4.55 / 4.50 CEX ( Included the version no-BD )
Arch 4.55 / 4.50 CEX ( Included the version no-BD )
Rebug REX edition 4.46.1 ( only on Retail/normal mode )
Rebug LITE edition 4.46.1

CFW's Not compatible :
All CFW Cobra Edition and CFW 3.xx or CFW DEX.

Update v1.05 :
add :bug connection psn fixed for cfw 4.46 rebug REX

Update v1.04 :
add : support CFW CEX 4.55 no-BD version
add : support CFW CEX 4.46.1 Rebug REX [only on retail/normal mode] and LITE edition

Enabling and disabling spoof easily


Operation
Delete your old spoof if you have one installed
Download and install the package
Launch the application, choose the version of your CFW and then choose to enable or disable the spoof 4.60
Then put yes to two successive questions (yes to reboot, yes to hard reboot).
Console restarts and ok.

Note : if you have a ps3 that does not restart correctly. No panic, just reinstall your CFW by the recovery mode.

You will need to put Rogero 4.55 on your USB stick and follow this pathway PS3>UPDATE>PS3UPDAT.PUP just like that all caps. Once you do that plug your USB into the console then go to system update and update via storage media, follow the on screen instructions. Once it reboots you are now on Rogero 4.55.

Someone told me the issue happened because of the mode menu, also i've the original disk!

When you start using RTM tools and Mod menus then the game has a greater chance of lagging and freezing so I think whoever told you that is correct that it was the menu causing the issue.

Scroll down to where you see "Install Package Files" click that, it should show all the .pkg files on your USB stick click on the spoofer, it will install once it is done you will be taken back to the XMB, click on the new app that is there, once inside that app click enable, then click yes to the reboot questions, once the console reboots try signing on and then let me know what happened.

You should start by reading through my Mega thread which you can find below (click the green letters) As for how to install this spoof you need to download it then place it on a USB stick that is formatted to FAT32 then plug it into your console, once you do that you will need to scroll down to where it says "Install Package Files" click that, it will show the .pkg spoof file, click on it and it will install, once it is done you will be back on the XMB click on the new app that is there, once inside click "enable" and yes to the re-boots once your console has rebooted try signing in and let me know what happens.
