Here's a quick and easy guide for installing Genesis (formerly known as GoTV and GoMovies) on your Kodi device.

I have added a link on getting the best out of Genesis at the bottom of this page. So once you install Genesis take a little time out to read that guide.

If you are seeing an empty Lambda repo then scroll past this guide for a quick fix.

• Open Kodi
• Select SYSTEM > File Manager

• Select Add Source

• Select None

• Type the following EXACTLY http://kodi.metalkettle.co and select Done

• Highlight the box underneath Enter a name for this media Source & type MK Repo

• Select OK

• Go back to your Home Screen
• Select SYSTEM

• Select Add-Ons

• Select Install from Zip File

• Select MK Repo or whatever you named the repo

• Select Recommended Repositories

• Select repository.lambda-1.1.0.zip

• Wait for Add-on enabled notification

• Select Get Add-Ons or Install from Repository (on Isengard)

• Select lambda Add-on repository

• Select Video Add-ons

• Select Genesis

• Select Install

• Wait for Add-on enabled notification

Genesis is now installed and ready to use. As usual you can access the add-on via your Video add-ons section.

The Kodi Tips website has created a Genesis Hosts tip that users may find useful. Visit their page to view the best settings for HD/SD hosts and which sources to disable. A very handy tip.

If you have used the guide above but the Lambda repo is showing as empty for you then do the following.

• [Click here to view this link] & save to a location you can easily access from your Kodi device
• Select SYSTEM
• Select Add-Ons
• Select Install from zip file
• Navigate to the Genesis zip file you just downloaded & select plugin.video.genesis-x.x.x.zip
• Wait for Add-on enabled notification

Genesis is now installed
