Hey guys, I just found this out and wanted to share it with everyone, because FINALLY we can succesfully gamesave Forza 3!! w00t!

You will need:
Usual equipment to gamesave
NXE Resigner
Hash Block Calculator
(I cant upload these because weve run out of bandwidth, but a quick search of the forums should get you these two applications)

Make a new game save on Forza 3 make sure you backup game save you want to recover and do not overwrite it!!!! You do not want to lose your game save you want to recover, its a pain already taking apart your hard drive and hooking it up to your PC thats if you don't have the XSata or that other make life easier hookup xd.

STEP 1:
After you have made a new game, now you have to make a copy of it from Xplorer360 after you have done so you will need to copy the device ID which is your HDD Device ID from the Xploder NXE Resigner, which I believe Forza 3 checks to make sure your Game Save is on the proper hard drive and on correct system. If you have a new system, and your game save was from your older xbox 360 you will need to copy the console ID from the newer game save.

STEP 2:
Now that you have copied the device id and console ID(IF YOU NEEDED TO.), open your old game save the one you want to recover check both boxes Device ID and Console ID and click Load IDs in the NXE Resigner, which will now load the newer IDs into your profile then click RESIGN button, after you have done that you are okay to close the program.

Step 3:
Now open Hash Block Calculator, then go to File>Open>Pick ForzaProfile
After yo have opened it go to Tools>Calculate Hash Block which will fix anything that is false and also re sign it make sure everything matches up.

Step 4:
Now after you done that you are okay to replace the recovered ForzaProfile with the new one that is on your hard drive. Then exit on Xplorer360 Program put together your hard drive and test it see if it works, if it does SWEET, and if it doesn't re check this tutorial see if you done everything correctly.

Please hit thanks if this helped you, which im sure it will help a lot of people
Happy gamesaving:thumbup:

Isn't this common sense? All you did was change the profile and device ID's.

Now, all we need is a save with every car and lots of cash

Hopefully someone with Valhalla will come along and drop a save.

This might be the reason why, even if you update your Profile, Device and Console IDs, Forza will know that you modified the save:

Original Console ID: 0912BA26E3
New Console ID: 0642FD0D31
As you can see the original console ID is from the old gamer profile.
The new console ID is the gamer profile I am moving the save to.

This mismatch does not prevent any other gamesave that I've tried from working. Only Forza 3 does not boot.

A totally new save game on the new profile results in:
Original Console ID: 0642FD0D31
New Console ID: 0642FD0D31
And there is no mismatch, thus the save works fine.

I used CONsign to see these values. Modio, Xploder Signer and others do not see the original console ID. We need a program that can change that original value.

ForzaProfile is the name of the gamesave.
There are other files that can accompany it, but may be deleted. They are:

LivCatalog
LivGroups

Did you mean that you want a gamesave uploaded here?

Man I have done everything right, I know because I have done this on other games, but I get an error message when I am at the forza front page saying I don't have enough space and that I need to change devices or make space...which is total BS because I have a 120GB HDD with 103gigs left on it. Wtf?

Weird, I fixed it. I had to make an entirely new saved game. I don't know why because this console I have is the ONLY console I've ever played Forza3 on....and the Gamertag was freshly made on the console I have the day I bought Forza 3. Awkwarddd.

Yes, making a new gamesave allows you to play Forza 3, however, the purpose of many of the users on this thread is to take the old gamesave and recover it onto a new gamer profile. There is too much work that has gone into the old save to just toss it aside and start anew.

this does not work... even when you change the original console id. You can do that with MxS_HBC. But still it tells me load diffrent profile this save game is crap.
