I know nothing about this psp, except that somebody lost it, and its a psp 1000

I dunno if its been upgraded or not, or anything about it, I haven't even turned it on yet.

Before I do irreversable damage on it or something, what should I do to mod this?

I tried reading the other posts but it was all greek to me.
Can anyone help?

If you want to mod it you need a Pandora's Battery and a Magic Memory Stick.

Go find someone locally to mod it. Cost me 10$ to do it and it was quick.

PSP-1000 models are very easy to "mod". All you need is a pandora battery and a magic memory stick. And just look it up on youtube how to do either. The best custom firmware in my opinion is 5.50 gen rev-d but there are newer ones such as 6.20 tn and CFW 6.35 PRO-B5. And to flash those isn't hard really
