Right now I want a laptop and am thinking about getting a macbook air 13 inch fully maxed out. If I could I would rather build my own laptop but I have heard it's almost impossible. I am thinking the macbook air because it's portable and I don't PC game so I couldn't really give a **** about it. Also my friend has an old old macbook and it's still working and I've played around with the OS and kinda like it. Not to mention those macbook airs are sexy as f***. Why not get a Windows OS laptop? That's why I posted here.

I belive you can dual-boot on a mac, so you could have windows and Mac's os

Why would I run Windows 7 on it ?
cuz like me ive had a macbook air and i ran into issues not finding programs that do curtain things that i like on windows and besides it would be in coherence mode so youd be looking at mac os and windows 7 at the same time so u could run windows programs and mac programs at same time just an idea

Huh ? I don't get it like the OS's are like layered on top each other so it shows files for windows 7 and mac os ? Or like split screen mode type ****?

When you start the laptop you'll be prompted to select which one to boot.

It's not difficult. You choose which one you want to boot up with. Windows or the Mac Os.

Yea that's what bugs me. If I am using a pc I only want one OS.
All you have to do is choose one at start....That's it.

Does this degrade performance or battery life ? Like what's the side affects of this ?
um i dont think it affects the battery life and performance wise you can set and change how much you want it to use like lets say i want windows 7 to use only one core of my 4 core processor or lets say u have 8gb of ram u can set it to use maybe a lil bit of it and same goes for harddrive

I don't really think anyone understands what you're asking, could you clarify what you want to know?
