This post is an archive of modding resources. That includes programs, saves and tutorials.

As the majority tutorials aren't specific for newbies to follow, I've created this "mega-thread" in order to help all new to the modding community.

Before I go on, I would like to thank the community, and the people behind these applications. You go unnoticed, but your work doesn't.

Moving onwards, you're going to need a way of connect your storage to your computer. This can either be done with a USB Flash Drive, or a Transfer Cable. I personally recommend using a USB Flash Drive, it's cheaper than buying a Transfer Cable and also more efficient. (Modding-wise)

Since you now have a way of connecting your storage device to your PC, next you need a way of accessing the files stored on it. Here's a list of programs that can do so:

For these, if you don't have a zip/rar browsing application, download WinRAR. This is needed to do the majority of these tutorials.

You should now have access your files on your computer. Time for some modding!
Here's a list of Modding Resources that allow you to modify your files, and some content that you can add:

Through those applications, you can modify your game data. Don't know how?

  1. Have the specified game save on your USB/HDD.
[*]Open up one of the listed programs that allow you to browse your device.
[*]Go to this directory: Content > Profile ID > Game ID > 00000001 > Save
[*]Extract your save to your computer. *Back up the file!
[*]Modify your game data via a modding program. *Be sure to rehash and resign!
[*]Inject your file back to the directory.

When adding content, put them in these directories:
Code:
Content/000000000000000/FFE07D1/00020000 = Gamerpictures
Content/000000000000000/FFE07D1/00030000 = Themes
Content/000000000000000/FFE07D1/00080000 = Demos
Content/000000000000000/FFE07D1/00090000 = Videos
Content/000000000000000/FFE07D1/00004000 = Installed Games
Content/000000000000000/FFE07D1/00000002 = DLC
Content/000000000000000/FFE07D1/00000001 = Game Saves

Want some easy content to add to your storage device? Here's some free themes and custom gamerpictures:

Gamerpictures:
Code:
Content -> 0000000000000000 -> FFFE07D1 -> 00020000

Now you've added some exclusive gamerpictures, why don't you add your own ones! Here's a tutorial on using GamerPicture Pack Creator in Modio to add your own.

  1. Download Modio [Beta]
  2. Open Modio.
  3. Go to the "Tools" tab, then select GamerPicture Pack Creator.
  4. Search for the game you want.
  5. Click on all the gamerpictures that you want, or click "Select All".
  6. When done, you can save the pack to your device automatically.
  7. Go to your xbox with your storage device in, and choose your desired gamerpicture.
Note: You can only select them on Xbox LIVE

Premium Themes:
These Premium Themes have all been converted to custom so you can use them very easily, just inject them to the following directory:

Code:
Content > 0000000000000000 > FFFE07D1 > 00030000

Next, I will be covering game saves. More specifically, how to use them and where to get them from. You may be wondering what these "game saves" can these saves do?

Well, they either give you gamerscore, be complete and/or have modified attributes.

Where can I find these saves?
Click here to view my archive of saves. I will be updating the thread regularly.

What do I do with them?
  1. Download and extract the file.
  2. Open it in Modio.
  3. Change it's Profile and Device ID to yours.
  4. Rehash and Resign the file.
  5. Drag and drop it into it's game folder on your device. Example: Content > Profile ID > Game ID > 00000001

It's to do with protecting your Console ID/Nulling.
If someone Files a Complaint on your GT, it Files it on your Console ID which will be nothing.
