I updated, so did a few of my friends. The NXE DOES NOT ban hacked firmware, it is safe.
No one thought it would, they thought they would add access to microsoft to update a list for more firmware bans, as previously they couldn't do it via live.
Your ****ting me right? Go on X360ISO lol. Alot of people thought it would. I said **** it and updated. Safe here.
good **** updating my flashed right now:thumbup:
So what happens when they ban in a week once everyone gets comfortable with NXE and updates?
W.e. Having a flashed drive has its risks. If your afraid to get banned. Don't flash your drive. Simple as that.
Well put headshot.. Anyways... I might be able to flash my drive in peace xD
I'm not complaining whatsoever; you guys just get all excited saying 'It's safe, it's safe!' when really MS may have other plans....
Wasn't pointed at you. Just saying. If I get banned then its a w.e thing. I flashed my drive. I know the consequences.
Nicely put again dude. I'm getting another 360 to flash, keep one normal.
Maybe I can get my Lite-On modded now ...>.>
I'm not going on until I see a log from C4E proving no new checks are being made to the drive.
(although I honestly think MS have no ran out of options)
EDIT: Nevermind, seems C4E has already looked it over. This is the topic title at #fw:

This is excellent news! I am stoked to finally flash my xbox 360. I really hope it stays undetected!
Sweet, i still might not update my flashed box for a bit, maybe when 1.5 comes out.
The way it's looking, it seems Microsoft have ran out of options. All they can do now is (supposedly) release marked games online.
As long as you download from a reputable release group, don't play review copies (to be on the safe side) and don't play a game like 3 weeks prior to it's release, you're fine.
They just have to try and make completely unmodded drives; which it seems they aren't too good at!
i just hopped right on, the only thing I stay off from, is ban waves, I didn't even care about this lol
IF I get banned, it's going to suck, but I'll probably sell my 360, and buy with that money (maybe half the money) some broke xbox on Ebay and fix it. mod it, and play again!
I'm sorry but that is such a buzzkill...
Yes they might have other plans but that doesn't matter, If a huge update that thousands of people feared and held their breath on is actually nothing at all, the least you could do is let them have the moment of joy.
Yes, now I'm the buzzkill
Yeah sorry, you can call me Mr. Grinch
