Discussion Stuck in-between New Update

After playin a few MW3 matches, i go to dashboard and get disconnected. When i tried to sign in, i get prompted to dl the new update. It failed so i saw somewhere that Buzz said to do a connection testing, i did so and was able to dl it.

Now after my xbox rebooted, it tried to install the update but would not let me as i got another error. I can see the changes on the dashboard but cannot connect to Live. Any tips or will i just have to wait this out for a fix? Thanks.

I just got word from the private forums for the testers that the reason for not being able to connect to xbox live is because everyone has to accept the new Terms of Use or something like that. And I guess it's lagging/taking a while to show up.
Spread the word, it's the new agreement. No ones xbox is broke.

I just got disconnected as well, now it asks me to update, I say yes, and it fails to download , micro**** fix this

I got the first half. But immediately when it restarted it wouldn't update. Lame.

If your xbox didn't complete the update, try doing the test xbox live connection test.
If you have an error that says the update was corrupted, unplug your xbox for a couple seconds, plug it back in and hold the sync button down while turning on your xbox.

We get it, allot of people are having problems, but stop making these threads, there are too many already. I was able to fix it by testing connection and then trying, I still got the message that i needed to reset modem/router, but all I did was back out and the next attempt I was fine, you can also try to reset your Xbox.

I tried this but as soon as i clicked on agree terms, it takes me to a page that says uh oh it appears youve found a glitch. Still gettin error after tryin to re dl update on xbox. Guess not everyone has the same luck.

Can't sign in at all. I even played skate 3 I was so bored.
