My XB1 broke down last week so I got the old 360 out, bought a few cheap preowned games to keep me busy until next week when I replace the XB1 and got Borderlands 2 and the Pre Sequel. I cant believe I am only just getting into these games they are amazing.

I noticed straight away that the pre sequel is very quiet online on the 360, in over a week I have found 3 mismatched level players who were way higher level and just left. Then I got to Deadlift, and got my *** handed to me. I am fairly new to the Borderlands games (I tried to play BL2 once and didn't get far) and I'm not an amazing FPS player but I love the epic storylines and the humour of these games. The problem is that to experience the full game and story solo isn't an easy thing to do and kinda takes the enjoyment out of it for me when it is too challenging and stressful by myself (but don't get me wrong I have a level 20 character that is legitimately pushing her way through the game without the save editor magic and it is really rewarding doing it properly). But, I wanted to make a character that could easily deal with the enemies and bosses solo, but focus more on enjoying this awesome story line.

If you really like the story of Borderlands in general and especially BL2 and The Pre Sequel, but find it very hard to get through the difficult encounters solo without any super special gear, you may get some enjoyment from using my save files that are designed for Story playthrough rather than build types, and difficult fighting throughout.

I made a save file using the save editor process and a well known BL save editor. I tried and tested it and it worked really well, I got to complete the whole story including the boss fights and raid in base game, without too much stress and really enjoyed it, plus I am Much more prepared for doing it for real next time round....I now kinda know how I am want to build my proper characters

So I have put the save file out there for other people to enjoy. I have used this save to complete hours of storyline missions and even do the final boss fight and raid on my own - and it was easy. How? because if you focus on the main storyline first, by the time you get to the end fights, they are around level 27 while you are level 50 so they are relatively easy to get through.

WHAT YOU GET
It is Clap trap (no need to worry too much about Oz in certain environments - emphasis was on making it easy to play)
Aimed at letting people enjoy the Borderlands story more than the fighting
Level 50
Starts out at the very first intro mission as if playing for the first time
Basically untouchable to enemies, but not completely
One shot kills almost all the way through, and massively overpowered
A set of good guns, mixed elemental damages, and awesome shield and grenade mods
You can now pick up mission items and still collect items along the way

The reason I kept the inventory amount as low as possible instead of maxing out on guns n gear, was because the original Claptrap save I downloaded had 2000+ items (2000/15) which meant I couldn't buy anything or pick anything up before dropping like 1986 items first, although they were all badass items. Having that number of items kept crashing my menu because I only really had 15 items of space with 2000 items crammed in there, the first time it caused a problem was when I did the same thing on BL2, there's a side mission where you have to buy a shield, I would have had to drop something like 1986 items to buy one shield, then I wouldn't have been able to pick them all up again because technically I only had 12 items of space - so this time around I picked just a few items out and used them in my save file.

I am told I cannot post links yet but I have the file available on my Github Account (RaserIbanez). After 10 posts I can upload the link but I don't want to just post dribble as I may be doing here, so somehow let me know if this interests you and I will either keep you updated on this 10 post deal, or discuss how to access my file. I am going to do the same thing for BL2 tomorrow.

I am interested to see if I can transfer these modded saves over to XB1 by using the cloud - once before I had an option to choose between my 360 save on the cloud and my XB1 save, so I managed to keep my original save - which back then was literally like level 6, and I hadn't really enjoyed or experienced the game properly.

Most will know there is a process to getting this save file to run on your profile, it is very straight forward but you will need a USB memory stick configured/formatted to save Xbox360 games, a PC to perform the magic, and a program to do the work.

My save upload has full step by step instructions and links to the tools needed if you don't have them

The way I do this is to load up the game first, make a new Claptrap character, get through the intro, and save the new level 1 character to the USB stick - it is easier to swap the save data from an existing save than to make a new one I find.
Plug the USB into the PC, load up Horizon (a free tool that can read the hidden Xbox profile data on the USB) find the save file, and open it up in horizon.
Replace the .sav file for the modded one, rehash and assign to the profile, and it is good to go.
