Well im stuck here at 1:00 A.M with nothing to do so why not check up on my fellow siners and halo reach fans...are you staying home for Halo Reach? I know it releases on a Tuesday and some people on this forum is still in school. Personally im 15 and I actually convinced my mom to bring me to midnight launch and let me stay home from school. I think its only because im working so hard to get the console edition. She is like "Damn your selling your xbox, hacked xbox, controllers, wifi, games just for this xbox?" I said "Hell yea means alot to me (NERD), hey mom can you bring me to midnight launch?" "Sure, also how about you take the day off of school." I said "oh shat"

so are you staying home to play Halo Reach on launch day?

Staying home from school for a Video Game? Are you serious? Pretty much the only reason I go to school is to socialize I mean that's the best part but how much of a nerd can you be to actually skip a day of school and sacrifice education and socializing with your friends. The games still going to be there when you get home you don't need to get it at the stroke of midnight, whats the difference between getting it at the stroke of midnight? No matter what you, your not going to be the first to play it anyway.

Sorry to get you upset, but its only 1 day of school. Its not like im acting to be sick, or staying home for the week to play Halo Reach.

Might not stay home. I went to the MW2 Midnight Launch and my mom let me play for 2hours and i had to go to bed.
Also went to get ODST at 6am.
So maybe cause Halo is like family. It was the first shooter i had.
But imma Freshman and High School now and have all Honors so i hope i can stay:smile:

Stop trying to look cool. I'm not sure if you've forgotten, but you're on a gaming website filled with video-game heads. And the fact that you are a regular premium member here, makes you no different.

You're talking about him missing education and s*** when you can't even use proper grammar? My god. It's YOU'RE, not YOUR, idiot. You talk about school like it's the only place you can socialize. You're probably just mad as hell that your parents won't let you go to midnight launch.

On topic:
I'm in college and my classes don't start until the 27th of September.

I did it back in '07 for Halo 3, one of my friends snuck out and came with me and played till around 5 am.
Won't do it this year though, even though I'll probably go to midnight launch.

How about this, you all email my Commander informing him that Halo:Reach will be coming out on such and such date, and that I should get leave for the day to join you all in the fun because the game is uber awesome blah blah blah, and then add in please sir!!! And see what he says.
