Realistically, it doesn't matter.

You can set it to whichever one you want.

I Have installled GTA V on my Xbox With All updates and DLCs. My Xbox is not RGH now
I wanted to know that After Jtaging my xbox Can i play online with mod menu by THE GTA V that i had installed before jtaging my xbox?

Yep, since the Mod Menu is just a plugin, it gets loaded into memory at launch.
So once your Xbox recognizes that you launched your GTA, it enables the plugin .

You should be able to launch it by disk or default.xex, shouldn't matter either way

So you say that we can launch gta v's mod menu by the demand version of the game. Are you sure about that?
Then why does most of the people use the iso version of the game for modding gta v?

Well all an ISO is, is a disc image of the retail disc, saved to a file.

So I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.
They use the ISO version because it lets them save it to their HDD I would assume.

Have you tried that yourself? I mean with the demand version
I don't see the difference too but i saw a lot of modders that they use the default.xex to run the game. I thought that this way would be safer

I haven’t personally, but if you do, let me know if it works on the Demand version

What exactly is a demand version of game?
I have got confused. Some people say when you install the game in normal way it will be the Demand version but some others say that you must use nxe2god and then it will be the Demand version of the game.
If you help I will be appreciate that.

Alright so technically there's 4 different versions of a game you can have:
  1. Retail Disc - One that you would purchase at a local store for $60.
  2. ISO - This is a file that is a direct copy of the Retail Disc.
Usually used by people with a Flashed DVD Drive, or XK3Y.
  3. Xex Format - Used with Jtags or RGHs.
This is essentially the ISO of whichever game you have, extracted into individual files.
You would load this by the 'default.xex' file.
  4. Game on Demand (GoD) - This is essentially a digital version of the game.
Just some more info for you:
  • If you have a Retail Disc, you can use Xex Menu or FreeStyle Dash to copy the game to your console.
This would result in you having the Xex Format of the game.
  • If you have an ISO, you can use Xbox 360 Image Browser to extract it.
This would also result in you having the Xex Format of the game.
  • If you have an ISO, you can use ISO2GOD in order to get the GoD version of your game.
ISO2GOD only works for Jtags or RGHs - You cannot use this on Retail Consoles.
  • Games on Demand don't require you to have a Retail Disc to play the game.
You can launch it straight from your Games Tab on the normal Dashboard.
  • Xex Format games can only be launched from Neighborhood, Xex Menu, FreeStyle, or Aurora.
If you have any other questions, lemme know .

I have Iso disks
My Disk 1 is installed
My Disk 2 isn't installed
Can I just put the disk2 into my xbox and then run the mod menu which is as a plugin?
