So now that Christmas has passed, i have some spare funds to invest into my computer and i'm wondering what, if any, i should upgrade, which would be the most worthwhile. My budget is between £100-£150. My current specs are:
Mobo: ASRock Extreme 4
CPU: Intel 3570k (Stock Clock)
GPU: AMD 7870 2GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB
HDD: 2TB Seagate 7200 RPM
PSU: 650W

What do you guys think i should spend this money on?
Thanks.

I'm at gym so looking at prices is kinda hard right now. But based on your specs you could add an ssd for the operating system and few programs.

The catalyst control center? Try uninstalling and reinstalling first.

Done all of it. Everything. Registry, the global cache, all of it. None of it works.

What kind of issues are you having?

I get the error "AMD Catalyst Control Center cannot be started. There are currently no settings that can be configured using AMD Catalyst Control Center."

I assume it shows up in Windows Device Manager?

Back to the original point, anyone have any ideas?

What's the value of buying an after-market cooling fan to OC my CPU compared to buying a SSD, or both but of less quality?

Aftermarket cooler would allow for better overclocks and an SSD would give your OS and the few programs on it a lot more of a 'fluid' feel.

I know this, but what's the ratio? What would be more important? A really good SSD/Aftermarket cooler or a mediocre of both?

It depends on whether or not you want to over clock or not. You can get the cooler master hyper 212 evo for a decent price and then get a 128Gb ssd.

I have no experience in overclocking, but it seems worth it. I definitely want to get an SSD, but whether it's worth buying a really expensive one or not i am not sure.
