This is a way to make interesting and unique weapons that allow for mixed manufacture parts
This tutorial is for modding after borderlands Patch 1.3 & 1.41

It is I was just playing with it... That one I posted was just my fave because it turns the sniper rifle into a Machine Gun only problem is that it drains ammo sooo fast that you would need either soldier or hunter ammo regeneration for it to be worth while...

but I'll post up some others in a bit

lol, I hadn't ever thought that the method for making invalid manufacturers could be used like this.

So i built it in WT and it loaded up in game but had a super high lvl requirement.
Then I tryed hexing it down to 70 but no luck.
Never mind I got it to work, messed up some hex values,im going to make some interesting weapons now. Thanks again Wolf.

Does it need scorpio itemgrade or can it be another as long as there is no grip or manufacturer?

Any other itemgrade will make the level be 0 so your gonna have to hex it no matter what... trust me i first made it without switching and all the guns I made did like 30 damage... then I remembered Harbringer told me to use scorpio :lol:

also I cant get on now so could someone try this pistol (every part is modded except action :tongue: )

The combination of scorpio itemgrade and smg weapon-type dont seem to work.

Any other itemgrade will make the level be 0 so your gonna have to hex it no matter what... trust me i first made it without switching and all the guns I made did like 30 damage... then I remembered Harbringer told me to use scorpio :lol:

also I cant get on now so could someone try this pistol (every part is modded except action :tongue: )

Idea: Would this work on items? Like class mods? Could you even really do anything with that?

I don't think so because there are not manufacture specific parts on shields or class mods and the attributes are directly linked to the body so removing that would probably make it do nothing at all.

hex it to lvl 54 and you got a class mod with +61% wep damage for any class with no lvl requirement :biggrin:

->also feel free to experiment w/ the gearbox mod as it is the only one without a class requirement.

Well I haven't seen anything about this on here and I though it was pretty sweet so I'll post it up.

This is a new way to make pretty interesting and unique weapons all credit goes to Harbinger1777 who told me how to do this earlier today.

So basically what you do is make the itemgrade scorpio and then remove the manufacture
Now you can mix in as many manufacture specific parts you want
Lastly open your save with a hex editor and change your gun level to 61 or 70 or whatever you prefer.

Below is an example weapon
although I don't have a pick I can assure you this works, I have personally tested it.
and these are the effects of this particular gun
-damage varies with level
-55 round clip
-fully automatic
-5 round burst while scoped
-4x shock

Go all out with it. If you have any ideas feel free to do whatever your thinking with this new info

Any ideas are welcome, for now I've just been having a blast making all sorts of crazy guns because the xbox version is finally getting back to where it was pre 1.3.

:lol:

Also I'm not sure how well this is know but the Berserker can also make -health regen class mods with centurion - material 2 but what confuses me is why the soldiers tactician - material 2 class mod wont give -values?

And the idea of making more then just the gearbox class mod equip able on all characters is also something I've been pondering but can't seem to think of any solutions?

Can this let you use machine gun parts on a sniper or is it just unique parts for that weapon type?

Edit: Can you put more than one type of part or just 1 of each? e.g Having the sledges shotgun barrel and barrel 3 carnage?

also why not just try it out yourself...

all this does is remove manufacture requirements because there is no manufacture....
