well i doubt anyone is going to give me a private keyvault but i would just like to know what it is and what its used for and stuff like that. and is that new update that is going to supposedly "end modding" for real?

The keyvault is inside your xbox and you would need to perform a flash dump too get it out.

Actually it is on your NAND which we all know, but some of the CON resigners have a file called KV.bin in them.

    There you go... someone's keyvault.

That would be one of the soon to be banned public keyvaults.

Here's how to preform a flash dump to get the RAND
[Click here to view the link]
And I suppose you use some resigner source then you replace the keys or hex edit the KV.bin

You dont need the source code, you could just use [Click here to view the link] CON resigner, and replace they public keyvault with your private keyvault.

A key vault is basically a section of the NAND (Xbox 360 Flash) where most keys are held. Inside some of the keys contained are: CON public/private, DVD drive key, etc etc.

Your keyvault is in your xbox. A NAND dump will allow you to get your keyvault. All CON files are resigned using your keyvault.

At 0x4000 on the consoles flash, take your CPU key as a target key and HMAC-SHA the first 0x10 bytes at 0x4000, the output is the key used to decrypt the rest of the KV(0x3FF0 bytes) using RC4. Good luck.

    thanks a lot for trying :biggrin:but i don't get that at all:biggrin:

i hav not the slightest clue what half of that means i realized some was hex but i will just forget about it until maybe there is a program or something to do it for me lol or unless that is impossible well whatever:?

i just assumed the kayvault was a file i could extract via xsata and change just a bit and mayb that wasnt hex i really am not sur:?:cursing::biggrin:

No, you need to perform a flash dump to get it. It is similar to xsata, except it costs more and you have to do more.

The bars are your activity and points. Refer to the rules. This is however not illegal to talk about.
