I hear alot of members complaining about installs on RGh and Jtags
so figured i would post a pic of mine and maybe members will show there work also
I have been doing this work now for almost 7 years now
started out with repairs and then jtags and rgh's
when they came out
there are alot of good sellers out there and I see alot of there work
so thought i would share mine
and hope some others share photo's of there
and hopefully people will be honest and rate others work also
post pictures of your installs and the boot times of the consoles
So members can see your work
Please leave feedback
Thank you!

So... the point of this thread is for us to post pictures of our installs and the boot times of the consoles for others to rate?

Hoping this thread stays up wow I never thought of running the wires like you did since those points are a pain to bridge where the resistors are missing. nice work. good to see new ideas

No reason for it to come down unless it turns into a flame war. I'm home for the holidays, but when I get home, I'll take some pics of recent work.

Does a partial install count? I started my first system last night and managed to get 4 successful nand reads without any bad blocks

Burnt points are from the QSB I tried to use that didnt work too well

The more I think about this though, people are only really gonna post their best work on one of their consoles. It may not be indicative of the average console they put out, nor the level of customer satisfaction that one provides. While it can help customers decision, it should only be a part of the decision, not the whole decision.

You need to strip less insulation off, way too much copper showing. And also try not to burn the insulation.

When it comes to soldering, less is better. Solder itself isn't a great conductor.

I work on electronic and electrical components for a living btw

The burns are from when I tried to use the horrible QSB but I will keep that in mind. Thank you!

I will admit this isn't my best work on 4gb qsb install but it does the job and you can see my bridge points on the resistors also for E and F
